Zbigniew Borozynski, age 75, passed away February 1.

THOMAS P. COMISO
Thomas P. Comiso, lifelong resident of Chicago, Bridgeport and McKinley Park communities, passed away February 3.
Beloved husband for 54 years to Mary (nee Nowinski); loving father of Theresa (Gerald) Wapniarski, Bridget (James) Calvino, Thomas (Tracey) Comiso, Gina Comiso, Michael (Sarah) Comiso and the late Anthony Comiso; proud papa of Sara and Edward Wapniarski, Anthony Calvino, Reanna, Thomas, Ryan and Emily Comiso, Jessica Fann, and Miles and Elliott Comiso; dear brother of Carol (late Patrick) McCarthy, late Janice (late James) La Porte, late Cathy (late Joseph) Lawler, Georgeann (Frank) Losurdo, Carrie (Frank) Worth and James Comiso. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Florence Comiso.
Visitation was held February 6 at Foran Funeral Home. Visitation Febrary 7 at the funeral home until time of Celebration of Life Service. Per his request, Thomas will be cremated, and his cremains will be buried at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
REV. JOHN DOYLE
Rev. John J. Doyle, former associate pastor of Infant Jesus of Prague Parish in Flossmoor, passed away February 6, 2024. He was 79 years old.
Father Doyle was born on February 21, 1944, in Evergreen Park. He attended Quigley Preparatory Seminary in Chicago, Niles College and the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein.
Father Doyle was ordained to the priesthood on May 13, 1970, by Cardinal John Cody, and celebrated his first solemn Mass on May 17 of the same year at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Evergreen Park.
Father Doyle served the Archdiocese of Chicago as assistant pastor at St. Margaret Mary Parish on Chase Avenue in Chicago and as associate pastor at the following parishes: Queen of Martyrs Parish in Evergreen Park, St. Albert the Great Parish in Burbank, St. George Parish in Tinley Park, St. Alphonsus Parish in Lemont and Infant Jesus of Prague Parish in Flossmoor. He retired as pastor in 2014.
Rev. James Kehoe, pastor emeritus at St. Joan of Arc in Skokie, and classmate, had been friends with Father Doyle for more than 60 years. “He was a wonderful priest, always caring and concerned about other people even when he had health issues.”
Rev. Robert Burnell, pastor emeritus of St. Hugh Parish in Lyons (now closed), had not seen Father Doyle in many years “but we have been classmates from Quigley to Niles to Mundelein Seminary to ordination.” Father Burnell remembers him as a kind and a good friend, highly regarded as a great priest.
Rev. Thomas Franzman, retired priest and classmate, remembered Father Doyle as a very nice person, devoted to the people he served. “I remember when John was assigned to St. Margaret Mary Parish, my home parish, my mom was still a parishioner there,” Father Franzman said. “She enjoyed speaking to him after Mass and had fond interactions with him. She knew he was my classmate, and she could tell he had a genuine love for the people in his parish.”
Funeral services have been held. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip.
RON A. GALLO
Ron A.Gallo, 81, of Hickory Hills, passed away on February 8 with his wife by his side.
He was the beloved husband and best friend for over 40 years to Diane Gallo; loving father of Marc (Sunghee) Gallo, Eric Gallo, and Kristin (Andrew) Gallo; cherished grandfather of Jonathan Gallo and Andrew (Nicolette) Gallo; proud papa of Emily Gallo; brother of Linda Kay Gallo and Carole Dauer; dear cousin to Delores Bartolo; kind uncle of many nieces and nephews; son of the late Anthony and Catherine Gallo; loving son-in-law of the late Ralph and Bernice Smith.
Ron was a former board member of High School District 230 and the Hickory Hills Park District.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, February, 15, from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Friday, February 16 at 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy., Palos Hills. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Magdalene Dorothy Goslawski (nee Sosnowska), age 71, passed away January 30.
Beloved wife of the late Lawrence “Larry” Goslawski; treasured mother of Melissa Goslawski, Amanda Goslawski (Patrick Kilway) and Kristen (Daniel) Blood; dearest grandmother of Megan Blood and Rebecca Blood; cherished daughter of the late Janina (nee Swiatek) and the late Antoni Sosnowski; ddear sister of Marta (Andrzej) Urbanski and Wieslaw Sosnowski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and numerous friends.
Her friendships stemmed from St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish, St. John of the Cross Parish, Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, Nordstroms, Western Springs Garden Club and neighbors that were also not just her friends but family.

Mary Ann Kula (nee Babicky), resident of Garfield Ridge community, graced this earth for 88 years, passed away at home January 31.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Thomas Kula; loving mother of Al Kula and Michael (Connie Eriksson) Kula; proud grandmother of Emily Kula, Julian Eriksson and Holden Eriksson. Mary Ann was a proud member of the International Catholic Deaf Association and a member of Chicago Catholic Ephpheph, Founding Member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Deaf Community.

JEAN ANN KURTH
Jean Ann Kurth (nee McElroy), died peacefully on February 8.
She is the beloved wife of David, cherished mother to Brian (Sara), Theresa (Oscar), and the late Steven; and proud grandmama of Magdalena and Julian.
She was deeply religious and devoted to helping others. She was an active member of the Association of Jeanne Jugan and often volunteered at the Little Sisters of the Poor, where her own mother resided prior to her death in 2008.
She was tenacious and persistent, and would have made an excellent lawyer had she not chosen to devote herself wholly to her family.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, February 14, from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Thursday, February 15, at 9:15 a.m. prayers at palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11027 Southwest Hwy., Palos Hills, to Sacred Heart Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.

Nadia E. Nuñez passed away February 2.
She was the loving mother of Gabriel Nunez and Noah Hernandez; cherished daughter of Juan and Norma Nuez; dear sister of Danielle Nuñez; much loved granddaughter of Mario and Maria Salamanca and the late Tomas Nuñez and the late Ernastina Nuñez. Nadia will be missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins.

DAVID EDWARD POLK
David Edward Polk, resident of Palos Park, passed away on February 11.
He was the beloved husband of 31 years to Carlotta nee Garcia.
David played semi pro ice hockey for 20 years, he was an avid bowler, Illinois State trooper for five years and retired from the Museum of Science and Industry, where he worked for over 43 years.
Later he played light percussion with several bands in the area, Night Shift, Nite Life, he played with Eddie Korosa, and most recently Flip Side.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, February 16, from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday 11 a.m. at the Palos- Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
