Shots fired at Orland Park home
Orland Park police responded last week to a call of shots fired at a home in the 17500 block of Coronado Drive.
Police said they received the call about 10:40 p.m. on November 15.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that an unknown vehicle approached a residence and fired multiple rounds from a handgun into the residence before fleeing the area. No one inside the residence was struck.
Subsequent investigation revealed that this incident was not a random act as the residence was specifically targeted.
The Orland Park Police Department continues to investigate this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Orland Park Police Department at 708-349-4111.
As police continue to canvas the area for video footage, Village residents are encouraged to register their home security camera systems with the Orland Park Police Department by visiting connectorlandpark.org.
