July 31: Last day to turn in summer reading logs for children and teens.
August 1: Bookworm Buddies, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages three to five years.
August 2: Little Learners Storytime, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero – three.
August 3: Bingo for Kids, Thursday, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., ages six – 12.
August 5: Sensory Play, Saturday, from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m., ages zero – five: Sensory toys will be set up for the children.
Adult Services
July 31: Puzzle Swap, Monday, from 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
August 1: Tuesday Book Club, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. The club will discuss “The Last Romantics,” by Tara Conklin.
August 2: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11 – 11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.
August 3: Mystery Book Club, Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the library. The club will discuss “Murder at the 42nd Street Library.”
August 5: Multi-Library Geocaching ends, Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
August 8: Next Friends of the PPLD meeting, Tuesday, at 11 a.m., Cornerstone Coffee.
