The 100th Illinois Volunteer Infantry Reenactors will hold  Memorial Day Services on Sunday, May 28, beginning at 10 a.m., at Oakwood Cemetery in Joliet, along with the 10th Illinois Reenactors. Captain Tim Marcus will be the speaker.
The 100th IVI will re-group at 1 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Green Garden at the corner of Manhattan-Monee Road and 80th Avenue. They then will proceed to Manhattan Center Cemetery near the corner of Manhattan-Monee Road and Cedar Road at approximately 1:45 – 2 p.m. Their final stop will be at Wilton Cemetery at approximately 2:45 – 3 p.m. These times may be extended due to traffic or extended interactions with the public following each ceremony.
The 100th Illinois Volunteer Infantry is an independent Civil War Reenacting group often associated with several local historical societies. They also provide Living Histories and Memorial Ceremonies for various groups and institutions.  
Their next upcoming events include the annual Manhattan Civil War Living History Event on July 9, at the Manhattan History Museum, and a Living History Encampment, sponsored by the Manhattan Township Historical Society at the Will County Threshermens Show in Wilton Center, July 22 – 23.
