Area residents will be able to enjoy a Strawberry Festival in Bridgeview for the next two weekends.
The festival will include a carnival, petting zoo, magic show, live music, food, cocktails and beer, and, of course, strawberries. Visitors will be able to indulge in strawberry infused foods and drinks and enjoy family-fun activities.
The fest will be set up from Friday, May 5, to Sunday, May 7, and again from Friday, May 12, to Sunday, May 14. It will be located in the former Kmart parking lot at 79th Street and Harlem Avenue.
From sweet strawberry treats to savory dishes, the festival will be home to a number of food vendors including chocolate covered strawberries, funnel cakes topped with strawberries, strawberry shortcake, strawberry ice cream and more.
Tickets are $10 per person (kids under 3 are free) and can be ordered at Ticketwiz.com.
