Shots fired at man in Palos Hills phone store
Palos Hills police said shots were fire Saturday afternoon at the Elite Mobile store at 7233 W. 103rd Street.
Police said they received a call at 1:55 p.m. of a disturbance at the store, which is in a shopping center across the street from Pete’s Fresh Market in Bridgeview.
Police said a man entered the store and started arguing with an old acquaintance inside the store.
The man then left the store and met with additional men in the parking lot. Suddenly, the men fired several shots at the man while he was still inside the store.
The shooters then got into vehicles and fled the scene southbound on Harlem Avenue.
Nobody was injured in the shooting.
Police said it appeared to be an isolated incident and there was no threat to the public.
The shooting is still under investigation.
