February 14, at approximately 8 a.m., Marvin L. Jones, 34, of Hazel Crest, was arrested in the 4900 block of W. Court Street for driving with a suspended driver’s license after being stopped for speeding. Jones was bonded and released.

February 15, at approximately 12:05 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 6600 block of W. Monee-Manhattan Road to investigate a theft. Upon the officers arrival, they took Jalen D. Seals, 22, of Harvey, into custody for allegedly stealing a Galaxy A14 5G, valued at $199. Seals was processed, bonded, and released.

February 15, at approximately 4 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 6600 block of W. Monee-Manhattan Road to investigate a theft. Upon the officers arrival, they took, Jorge L. Gutierrez, 22, of Chicago, into custody for allegedly stealing a pair of Apple AirPods, valued at about $449. Gutierrez was processed, bonded, and released.

February 17, at approximately 1 p.m., Nicholas A. Thompson, 32, of Joliet, was arrested in the 25700 block of S. Egyptian Trail for possession of a controlled substance after an officer found him lying on the ground. Thompson told the officer he thought he overdosed and removed two small plastic bags containing a grey powder from his wallet, which he admitted to be heroin. After Thompson was treated at a local hospital, he was transported to the Will County Adult Detention facility in Joliet.

February 17, at approximately 7 p.m., Winton J. Ward, 44, of Chicago, was arrested in 5900 block of W. Monee-Manhattan Road for driving with a suspended driver’s license after being stopped for a registration violation.  Ward was bonded and released.

February 18, at approximately 5:20 p.m., Napria Tierra C. Joiner, 25, of Dolton, was arrested in the 6500 block of W. Monee-Manhattan Road for driving with a suspended driver’s license after being stopped for expired registration. Joiner was bonded and released.
