James R. Kerrigan, age 75, passed away December 28. US Army Vietnam War Veteran.

BERNADINE FRANCES KUDIA

Bernadine Frances Kudia (nee Early), 96, passed away peacefully in Palos Park on January 9.

She was the beloved wife for 69 years of the late Edward Joseph Kudia, loving mother of Michael (Colleen), John (Lisa), Richard and Mark; always caring grandmother of Michael (Mickey), Kathleen, Frances (Joy), Shane, Madelyn and Joseph (Joey); loving brother Donald; her late sisters include Mary Briggs, Collette Rocke, Joan Early, Patricia Foster and Ann Mitsdarfer; and the late brothers Joseph, John, George and Robert; many nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her backyard pool parties and afternoon celebrations usually involving home baked kolache.

A Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park.

Francisco Javier Lagunas, 55, of Midlothian, passed away suddenly on January 5 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Deanna Pape Lagunas; loving father of Jeremy, Frankie, Alex, (Gabriella), Jesus, and Cristian Lagunas, cherished grandfather of Jackeline, Jasmine, Jeanine, Daniel, Mia, Giselle, Rose and Luca; devoted son of Raquel nee Guerrero and the late Javier Lagunas; dearest brother of Juan Manuel (Maria), Fernando (Maricelle), Hermila, (Manuel)Calvillo, Jorge, and Adolfo, (Yolanda) Lagunas.

Minerva Negron, age 83, of Chicago, Archer Heights community, passed away peacefully January 10, with her loving family at her side.

Lawrence “Larry” J. Tomich, age 93, of River Forest, passed away peacefully January 10. Korean war era Army veteran.

Beloved son of Helen and Stephen Tomich; cherished brother of siblings who preceded him in death, Therese (Tomich) Veldman, Martin ”Buck” Tomich, John “Red” Tomich, Elizabeth (Tomich) Zolmierski,  Paul Tomich (WWII) and  Raymond Tomich. As a loving uncle he was preceded by the late Jim and leaves behind many nieces and nephews; as well as many grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. He is a lifelong parishioner at St. Joseph Parish in Summit.
