On December 29, Brandon Jackson, 21, of the 200 block of E. Taylor Street, Grant Park, was stopped at 449 Corning Road for a licensing violation and found to have no valid driver’s license. In the vehicle, controlled substances were found, along with cannabis. He was charged with adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle and possession of controlled substances. Jackson was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
On December 30, Ronald Orourke, 53, in the zero hundred block of Hilgert Court, Grant Park, was stopped at 730 Dixie Highway for speeding and found to have a suspended driver’s license. Illegal cannabis was found in the vehicle, and he was charged with adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, driving while license suspended, and speeding. He was bonded out shortly afterward.
