Patricia E. Anguiano passed away peacefully August 12, with her loving sons at her side.

She was the beloved mother of Jaime (April) Pulido and Alejandro (Griselda) Pulido; cherished grandmother of Ethan, Francesca, Natalia, Vincent and Alessandra; much loved sister of Dolores Tamez, Eleanore Sierra, Monica (late Gabriel) Ortiz and the late Margaret Rodriguez, late John Sierra, late Paul Sierra, late Dario Sierra, late Frank Sierra and the late Victor Anguiano. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held August 18 at Foran Funeral home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation also held at the funeral home August 19 until time of prayers. Procession from the funeral home to St. Procopius Church for Mass. Cremation private.

Richard F. Bigott, of Palos Heights, passed away peacefully on August 21, surrounded by his loving children.

He was the beloved husband of the late Irene Bigott nee Jaje; loving father of Gregory (Irene) and Jeffry Bigott and Andrea (Kenneth Jr.) Quindel; cherished grandfather of Gwen (Patrick) Orlowski, Ian, Andrew and Carolyn Bigott, Brittany (Derrick) Lottich and Brian Quindel; dearest brother of Lorraine Jassak and the late Leonard (the late Genevieve) Bigott; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He was a veteran of both the Army and the Navy.

Visitation will be Friday, September 2, from 3-8 p.m. and the funeral will be Saturday, September 3, at 9 a.m. from the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy., Palos Hill, to St. Alexander Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Mary Hill Cemetery, Niles.

Aileen M. Prible, age 90, of Chicago, Garfield Ridge community, passed away peacefully August 13, with her family at her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Prible; loving mother of Barbara (Michael) Fricilone, the late Joanne (Chris) McCormick, Christine (Frank) Ganta and Robert Prible; cherished grandmother of Amy (Duane) Blank, Paul (Marina) Fricilone, Thomas Fricilone, Andrew McCormick, Jenny (Tanner) Taake and Michael (Cecilia) McCormick; great grandmother of Josie, Jonas, Aria and Henry Blank, Ella and Harper Fricilone, Jolene, Sofie and Maddox Taake; dear sister of Dorothy (late Ron) Zegarski . She was preceded in death by her brother Jerome and his wife, Norma Kwilosz. Aileen will be remembered dearly by her many nieces and nephews and their children.

images REPORTER EXTRA ART Am Flag copyRichard Royals took his final flight into the sunset to meet his beautiful wife once again. Richard passed away peacefully at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona, on July 10.

Richard was born on February 18, 1932, in Chicago to Agnes and Harold Royals. He graduated from CVS high school in 1950.

He was in the National Guard and the Air Force and served in the Korean War.

He married June Bobzin in 1953 and together they had three girls.

Richard was a flight engineer for American Airlines for 47 years.

Dad was a jack of all trades. He could fix anything and in the ‘70s he and mom built their dream house in Hickory Hills. In that decade, they spent summers in Hawaii, which they loved.

In the ‘80s, they bought a second home in Scottsdale where they vacationed often. In 1998, they moved to Arizona permanently. They often said it was the best thing they ever did.

Dad loved his garage, the original man cave with all his tools and signs. He also loved Coors beer, Sees candy, lottery tickets, the casino, garage sales and the flea market.

After he retired, he loved woodworking and made airplanes and birdhouses in his garage. Anyone who stopped by went home with a birdhouse or an airplane.

Dad was a devout Catholic and went to mass every week.

Richard is survived by his daughters Sharon Welzen (late Frank Hagbom), Sandy Solava (Jim), and Julie Royals. Grandsons Jeffrey Welzen (Natalija) Jimmy Solava and Brian Solava (Alyssa) and great granddaughter, the apple of his eye, Mila Welzen. He was preceded in death by his wife June of 62 years in 2015 and his son-in-law Frank in 2020.

Dad will be missed but never forgotten.

Henry Splawski, age 73, passed away July 17.

Beloved husband of Annette (nee Perkins) Splawski; loving father of Jeffrey Splawski, Jonathan Splawski (Diamond Bey) and Tiffany Splawski (Julia Ullery); cherished son of the late Czeslawa (nee Janiszewska) and the late Marian Splawski; dear brother of Joseph (Irene) Splawski and Stella (Witek) Chlopek. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral was held August 6, family and friends gathered at Two Holy Martyrs Parish-Saint Rene Goupil, 6340 S. New England Ave., Chicago for Mass. Loving father to Felicita Torres (Ryan) Smith, the late Ramon Torres Jr. and Angela Shedell Moncrease (Obiajulu) Okasili; grandfather to Maya, Alina, Obichukwu, Chimdalu, and great grandfather to Ontrelle. He will be remembered dearly by his lifelong companion Reba McDonaldson. Ramon is survived by his siblings Antonio (late Julia) Torres, Sigilfredo (Gladys) Torres, Manuel (late Maria) Torres, and he was preceded in death by Paula Torres, Eladia (late Domingo) Torres, Digna (Ricardo) Rivera, and Hersiquio (Zoraida) Torres and parents Manuel Torres and Felicita Santiago. He is also survived by several special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial visitation was held August 20, with a celebration of life service following at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave (55th street just west of Harlem) Summit.
