Boguslaw Daszynski, 77, of Palos Hills, formerly of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood, passed away July 18.

He was the beloved husband of Krystyna (nee Kapka); loving father of Magdalena (Robert) Pawlowski and Adam (Nichole); dearest grandfather of Mateusz; dear brother of Hanna (Kazimierz) Wiemann; devoted son of the late Irena (nee Wezowczyk) and late Tadeusz Daszynski; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, from 4-8 p.m. at Zarzycki Manor Chapels, 8999 S. Archer Ave., Willow Springs. Funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to Our Lady, Mother of the Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Mariann K. Hendrickson, nee Kleyboecker, 80, of Alsip, passed away on July 1.

She was the beloved wife of the late John D. Hendrickson; loving mother of Sue Lynn (Scott) Smetana, Aura Lee Hendrickson, John David Hendrickson II, and the late Jeanne Marie Hendrickson; cherished grandmother of Timothy Hendrickson, Rob and Katie Smetana; dearest sister-in-law of Elaine (the late Jerry) Walsh; kind aunt of Sean Walsh and the late Eric Walsh.

Suzanne E. Holm, 87, late of Orland Park, passed away on July 11.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Holm; mother of Patricia (Dennis) Egan, Ken (Jill) Holm, Rich Holm, and Janet (Leo) Delaney; grandmother of Lauren (Ken), Kevin (Tricia), Caryn, Krista, Alicia, Nichole (Becky), Rich, Tim, Rob (fiancée Kristine), Meghan, and Molly; great-grandmother of eight; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was on July 15 at Thornridge Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was held on July 16 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.

Frances M. Horn (nee Marec), 93, passed away June 21.

She is survived by her sister Anne “Honey” Zacek; her children Robert (Gerry), Dennis, Kenneth (Patricia), Thomas (Linda) and Debra (Jeff), 15 wonderful grandchildren, and 18 lovely great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Horn, son David A. Horn, and grandson David D. Horn.

Maria Carmen Pedroza, 68, of Oak Lawn, passed away suddenly on July 8.

She was the devoted daughter of the late Alfredo and Beatrice nee Hernandez Pedroza; loving sister of Roseann (Glenn) Newton and the late Alfredo (Elizabeth) Pedroza; cherished aunt of Andie (Doug) Bodenhagen and Aron (Holden) Wright; dearest great aunt of Brody and Lilly Bodenhagen and Charlotte Wright; dear cousin and friend to many.

Visitation was July 14 at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy., Palos Hills. Funeral services were held at St. Gerald Church. Interment private.

Frank A Repinec, 93, longtime resident of Summit, passed away peacefully July 11, at his home in Palm Harbor, Fla., with his family at his side.

Frank leaves behind the love of his life for over 63 years, Barbara (nee Kelecich). He was the loving father of Kim (Tim) Copp; cherished grandfather “Papa” of Lauren (Ray) Zayas, and Megan (Brett) Donnelly; very proud great grandfather “Poppy” of Raelyn, Finn, Rory, and Owen. Son of the late Alex and Kathrine Repinec; beloved brother of George Repinec, the late Mary (late Steve) Weston, late Kay (late Marvin) Baumann, late Barbara (late Walter) Gale, late John (late June) Repinec, and the late Steve (late Annie) Repinec. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

For many years he was very involved at St Joseph Parish, longtime member of St. Joseph Holy Name Society, an Eucharistic Minister, and a Member of St. Joseph Choir.

Memorial visitation in celebration of Frank will be held on Friday July 22, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Avenue, Summit. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Joseph Church on Saturday, July 23, for an 11 a.m. Memorial Mass.

Carmen F. Rodriguez, 90, of Summit, passed away peacefully at home July 6, surrounded by her loving family.

Wife of the late Jesus Rodriguez; loving mother of Yolanda Rodriguez, Evelia (Robert) De LaTorre, Gracie (Antonio) Contreras, Jose (Aurora) Rodriguez and stepmother to the late Guillermia (Juan) Alvarado; cherished grandmother of Gloria (Juan) Quevedo, Laura (Carlos) Morales, Robert C. De La Torre, Vanessa De La Torre, Albert De La Torre, Isabel De La Torre, Marco Contreras, Diana (Jonathan) Jarvis, Jackie (Edgard) Lopez, Adrianna (fiancé Jake Harvey) Contreras, Jose Rodriguez Jr. Cpl. USMC and David Rodriguez Pfc USMC, Guadalupe Alvarado, Juan (Pam) Alvarado and Richard (Tanya) Alvarado; much loved great grandmother of many, great great grandmother of one, and aunt and great aunt. She now rejoins her beloved parents, Vincente and Eulalia Farfan and her brothers and sisters.

Visitation was held July 12, celebrating Carmen’s life on what would have been her 91st birthday at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Visitation at the funeral home July 13 until time of Prayers. Procession from the funeral home to St. Blasé Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Therese Joan Seale, 83, of Palos Park, passed away on July 12.

She was the devoted mother of Phillip Oziemkowski and the late Richard (Lauriann) Oziemkowski, and Judith (Scott) Pazdro. Cherished gramma of Jennifer and Rebecca Oziemkowski; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was July 18 at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy., Palos Hills. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

M. MICHELE SHEEHAN

M. Michele Sheehan, 70, of Palos Hills, passed away peacefully on July 11.

Michele was born in Chicago on August 25, 1951. After graduating from St. Scholastica High School, she went on to have a successful 45-year career with JP Morgan Chase (previously First National/Bank One), advancing from page to vice president.

Michele was a loving sister, aunt and friend to many. In retirement, she loved traveling to Italy, cooking, and enjoying time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Michele was proceeded in death by her father Howard A. Dill, mother Margaret Josephine Dill (nee Ryan), and brother Corneilus Dill. She is survived by her brothers, Michael (Ruth) Dill, Shawn (Linda) Dill; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Dill, Mairghread (Michael) Wycklendt, Katharine Dill, Daniel Dill, Maggie Dill, Patrick Dill, Raymond Dill, Kevin Dill; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation and funeral services were July 16 at Sacred Heart Church. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.

He was former president and member of St. Richard HNS, Golden Agers, Sacred Heart Church Lector and Eucharistic Minister, Board of Directors of Archer Heights Credit Union and Clearing Post 600 American Legion.

Visitation was held July 15 at Zarzycki Manor Chapels Ltd.,  8999 S. Archer Ave., Willow Springs, and July 18 until time of funeral mass at The Franciscan Village, 1270 village Dr., Lemont.  Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

Harry S. Trocki Jr., 75, of Stickney, passed away peacefully at home July 10.

He was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Smierciak); loving father of Ray (Beth); proud grandfather of Elise and Lucas; dear brother of John (Pat) Trocki and David (Margie) Trocki. Harry was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and Paul Trocki. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and friends.

Harry was a longtime member and past president of the Stickney-Forest View Lions Club.

Visitation was held July 14 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Visitation at the funeral home July 15 until time of Prayers. Procession from the funeral home to St. Leonard Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Dorothy Virginia Twardowski (nee Santee), 94, of Temple, Georgia, passed away June 18, at Paulding Nursing and Rehab Center in Dallas.

She was retired as an administrative assistant and after her retirement she volunteered at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She attended the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Summit, where she was voted Catholic Woman of the Year.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Anos and Margaret Santee, her husband Edward Twardowski, daughter Kathleen Brogan, son Michael Rooney, sister Joyce DeBella and brother Anos Santee. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Connie Rooney, sister Effie Riggle, brother Mark Santee, 3 grandchildren Thomas Brogan, Erin Knight and Michael Rooney and three great grandchildren Sadie Brogan, Dexter Brogan and Jayne Knight.

In keeping with Mrs. Twardowski’s wishes she will be cremated, and no formal services will be conducted. 

J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Villa Rica is in charge of the arrangements.

Mary Ann Wyma, nee Murray, 86, of Palos Hills, passed away on July 17.

She was the beloved wife of the late Glenn R. Wyma Sr. Devoted mother of Patrick (Susan), Joan (Ken) Sawinski, Tom Sr., Matthew, Shawn (Amanda), Timothy and the late Daniel Sr. and Glenn Jr. Wyma. Loving grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of four. Dear sister of eight; kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.
