Oak Lawn students help dreams take root in Zimbabwe
After a life-changing trip to Zimbabwe, Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School media specialist Heather McCarthy and her students launched a fundraiser to build a library for Musukwi Primary School. Their upcoming Pages of Hope event on Oct. 18 aims to raise the remaining funds needed to complete the project before its grand opening in June 2026.
