Judita Dargis, 91

Judita Dargis (Zonaite) passed away peacefully at home in Orland Park, IL, on December 17, 2025. Born on October 28, 1934, in Radviliskis, Lithuania, to Gustavas Zonas and Adele Lopetaite (Baltramonaitiene). She married Stasys Dargis (Darginavicius) on January 3, 1959, and they later immigrated to the United States, settling in Chicago. Judita was a loving mother to Edward and Vilija (Casey) Krajewski, and a cherished grandmother to Andrew, Lidija (deceased), and Tomas Krajewski.

Devon P. Smith passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. He was the beloved son of Brian and Mary Jane. Devoted brother of Brandon Smith and Kaitlyn Smith. Much loved grandson of Gail and the late Carl Smith, and Noreen and the late William Weber. Loving nephew of Kelly Smith, Shawn Beranek, Jill Smith, Louis Weber, William Weber, Noreen Weber, Tammy Weber, Tina Weber, Kathy Weber, and the late Terry Weber. Dearest cousin to many.

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Ryan Carone on Thursday, January 1, 2026. He was the loving son of Patrick and Catherine Ryan Carone. Much loved brother of Catherine (Kyle) Lewis and Michael (Ellie) Carone. Dear uncle to Cate, Maddy, Molly, and Danny. Loving grandson of Catherine and the late John Ryan, and the late Joseph and the late Celeste Carone. Patrick will be remembered dearly by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jesse H. Rodriguez passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025, with his loving family at his side. He was the beloved husband for 64 years to Mary Puente Rodriguez. Cherished father of Gabriel (Kathryn) Rodriguez and Lisa (John) Guzman. Dear brother of Jose (late Socorro) Rodriguez; the late Ismel (late Florence) Rodriguez; the late Gilbert (late Helen) Herrera; and the late Magdalena and Bulmaro Corral. Jesse will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews, as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Salvador Romo passed away Wednesday morning, December 31, 2025, with his loving family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Maria Martha Romo for 28 years. Devoted father of David Salvador Romo and Diego deJesus Romo. Much-loved brother of six sisters and three brothers, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Salvador will be missed by his many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Teresa Romo.
