The final match of March for both Reavis and Stagg ended in a 0-0 draw on March 28 in Burbank.
The Rams (2-4-1 entering this week) are led by third-year head coach Konrad Dziedzic. This season’s team captains include seniors Alaina Hernandez and Olivia Smcyz.
“The captains play a huge leadership role for our team in helping to build the team chemistry,” Dziedzic said.
Among the younger players on the team are freshman midfielder Isabelle Lopez and sophomore goalkeeper Delyanna Arocho.

“Both of them are phenomenal,” Dziedzic said. “They are our keep players in the game that help lock in and solidify our defense and solidify our midfield.”
Defensive stability was a missing component last season, he added.
“Now when we face those better teams, the games are closer and once we get the chemistry going, and more wins as a result,” he said.
Stagg (3-2-1), coached by third-year head coach Shannon Creevy, is off to a strong start.

“This team is an awesome team,” Creevy said. “We have a lot of talent, a lot of veterans are stepping up and leading the team, and they give 100 percent on the field.”
Key players for the Chargers include Maria Bafia, Sophia Enrique and Jaclyn Rizzo.
Sophomore Isabelle Estrada is among the newcomers.
Creevy has enjoying watching the girls come together and the way they have started off the season.
“As a whole, the team is very cohesive and works really well,” she said. “Everyone is an important piece to this team.”
