Stephanie M. Badowski (nee Dziedzina), age 99, of Chicago, Clearing community, passed away June 25.

Beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Timothy (Deborah) Badowski, Denise Badowski, Thomas (late Virginia) Badowski, Steven (Donna) Badowski and the late Richard (Dale Ann) Badowski; cherished grandmother of Johnathon (Alyssa) Badowski, Lauren (Nat) Panzeca, Jenni (John) Galivan, Michael Badowski, Jackie Badowski, Christohper Badowski, Katrina Badowski, Anna Badowski and Andrew (Kate) Badowski; great grandmother of Briana, Kayla, John Timothy, Virginia and the future little one.

Janina Bazun (nee Komperda), age 62, passed away June 5.

Beloved wife of the late Roman Bazun; loving mother of Artur Bazun (Zofia Skobel), the late Karol Bazun, Przemyslaw Bazun (Paulina Kuraszkiewicz) and Ola Bazun; dearest grandma of Olivia Bazun; cherished daughter of the late Maria (nee Pawlak) and the late Stanislaw Komperda; dear sister of Marek (Malgorzata) Komperda. Also survived by many relatives and friends.

VICTOR B. BROWN

Victor B. Brown, age 64, of Chicago, Garfield Ridge community, formerly of Brookfield, passed away June 12.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Brown (nee Wyman), his children and their spouses, Caitlyn and Anthony Ferraro and Kyle and Chelsea Brown and his grandchildren, Vivian and Wesley; dear brother of the late Joseph (Nancy) Brown and Alan (Kelly) Brown. Victor will be remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Victor donated his body to the Anatomical Society.

A Memorial visitation in Celebration of Victor’s life was held July 2 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). BulwithREV. RICHARD E. BULWITH

Rev. Richard E. Bulwith, former associate pastor of St. Hilary Parish on California Avenue in Chicago, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He was 80 years old.

Fr. Bulwith was born on Nov. 6, 1941, in Melrose Park. He attended St. Lawrence Seminary, Quigley Preparatory Seminary in Chicago, and the University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein. He also earned master’s degrees in health science at Governor’s State University and in spirituality at Loyola University Chicago.

He was ordained to the priesthood on April 27, 1967, by Cardinal John Cody, and celebrated his first solemn Mass on April 30 of the same year at St. Bernardine in Forest Park. Fr. Bulwith began his service to the people of the archdiocese as assistant pastor at St. Emeric Parish in Country Club Hills. Later he served as associate pastor at St. Michael Parish in Orland Park, Immaculate Conception Parish on North Park Avenue in Chicago, St. Nicholas Parish in Evanston and St. Hilary Parish on California Avenue. He was also pastor at St. George Parish on Lituanica Avenue in Chicago. From 1987 to 2017, Fr. Bulwith served as associate director of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Rev. James Heneghan, a good friend of Fr. Bulwith and associate pastor at Our Lady of the Rosary in Chicago, was grateful for the work that Fr. Bulwith did with Catholic Charities. “He was touched to see the healing and growth in the community he served at Catholic Charities,” Heneghan said. “And this energized and empowered his priesthood beyond a parochial setting.” Heneghan added that Fr. Bulwith felt blessed by the relationships of his faith, his family and the many friends he encountered throughout his years as a priest.

A Memorial Mass will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2022, at St. Bernardine Church, 7246 Harrison St. in Forest Park.

Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, archbishop of Chicago, will be the main celebrant of the Mass and Rev. Louis Cameli will be the homilist.

Debra M. Cagney age 67, passed away June 26.

Beloved wife of Gary Kledzinski; devoted mother of Elizabeth (Anthony) Dalton, Gary Cagney Kledzinski, and Megan Cagney Kledzinski; proud grandmother of Jack, Molly, and Casey; loving daughter of the late John and Rita Cagney; adored sister of Tom (Lynn) Cagney, Terry (Veronica) Cagney, Nancy Cagney, and Patrick Cagney. Dear aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.

TrncinskiDAVID TRZCINSKI

David Trzcinski, 81, passed away June 21, 2022. He was born August 18, 1940.

Beloved husband of Carol (Chorzepa). Loving son of the late Joan and late Walter Trzcinski. Brother of the late Roger and late Jane Trzcinski. Uncle to the late John (Michele) Trzcinski and Janet (Michael) Freund. Brother in-law to Jerry Chorzepa.

He was a long-time resident of Palos Park and has lived in the southwest suburbs since 1977.

David lived life to the fullest. In retirement, he took on many interests. His love of performing took him to acting classes at Moraine Valley Community College. Which led to numerous roles in local community theater. Performing at Moraine Valley Academic Theater, The Theatre of Western Springs, and NightBlue Theater. His natural sense of humor took him to Improv and back to Moraine Valley for more training. He performed with the Orland Park Improv Troupe and then went on to complete the Improv Program at Second City in Chicago. Dave worked for Southern Wine and Spirits as a Wine Educator at local retailers teaching the public about different wines. He also wrote reviews of food products for the Daily Southtown Newspaper. David had a love of food, wine and cooking as well as crossword puzzles and sudokus.

Through his lifelong love of reading and writing, he went on to serve as board member and then president of the Palos Park Library Board for over 14 years. He also volunteered at the McCord Gallery & Cultural Center helping with events and writing publicity.

He worked for 25 years as the Director of Personnel for the United Food and Commercial Workers Unions and Employers Midwest Health Benefits and Pension Funds. While at the UFCW he wrote and performed in many satirical and humorous Holiday Shows. He was a friend to many at the UFCW. Earlier he worked as a foreman at Wisconsin Steel and in market research and site selection for Montgomery Ward.

David was raised in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood attending St. Michaels the Archangel School, Chicago Vocational High School and Bradley University. At Bradley he wrote a humor column for the school paper, wrote for the Yearbook and their literary magazine, under the pen name Dave Trask.

He enlisted in the Army in the 1960s and later served six years in the Army Reserve. He was assigned to military intelligence, specializing as an intelligence analyst. He then trained as an Interpreter and Interrogator.

David spent the last few years living with Alzheimer’s. He passed away peacefully at home. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2022, from 3-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be July 9, 2022, at 9:15 a.m. from Richard J. Modell
