Jan Koscielak, great-grandfather of three, dies at 85.
Koscielak, the husband of the late Stanislawa Koscielak, died Oct. 31. He was 85.
He is survived by his daughter, Rozalia Dziadkowiec, and her husband, Jozef; three grandchildren, Jolanta Makino and her husband, Saygi, Adam Dziadkowiec, and Katarzyna Arnold and her husband, Ted; three great-grandchildren, Adelina Arnold, Theo Arnold and Raphael Makino; his brother, Edward Koscielak; his sister, Zofia Pawlak; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, Maria and Jan Koscielak; his brothers, Stanislaw and Jozef Koscielak; and his sisters, Maria Orzechowska, Anna Hanzalik, Helena Puto and Aniela Koscielak.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 4 at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice. Prayers are scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 5 at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, 116 Hilton St., Willow Springs, for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
