Republican voters have rejected Liz Gorman in her last three primary elections. Orland Republicans dumped her as Republican Committeeman after she failed them, time after time.

This year Orland Republicans confirmed that opinion by rejecting her as Committeeman, again.

The last time Liz Gorman ran for County Commissioner in a Republican primary, she lost, decisively.

Why do voters keep rejecting Liz Gorman?

As the former Republican commissioner for the 17th District, I have some idea. Maybe because of the suspicious way she quit the position of County Commissioner before her last term ended.

Maybe because her $13 million bankruptcy case stained her image as the successful business person she claimed to be. Maybe because a federal magistrate characterized her and her business partners as a “pack of weasels” for their odious practices. Maybe because her “go-to” campaign practice is to smear her opponent in a desperate attempt to seize a moral high ground.

Yes, Liz Gorman is at it again with her usual tactics as she runs again for the job she abruptly quit. But we know the real Liz Gorman and we can reject her, again, in November.
