Shoppers looking for handmade items, homemade treats and a little evening fun will have a chance to find all three at an upcoming craft and vendor fair in Chicago Ridge.
The Women’s Auxiliary of Glenn Maker American Legion Post 1160 will host the event from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 12 at the post, 10739 Ridgeland Ave.
The fair will bring together local vendors selling crafts and other merchandise, making it an opportunity to browse for something unique while supporting small businesses. Visitors also can stop by a bake sale for sweet treats or grab a bite to eat from a food truck.
Raffles will add to the evening’s activities, and admission is just $1 per person.
“We’re looking forward to a fun evening, and we invite everyone in the community to come out, enjoy the festivities and support our local vendors,” said Pat Lopez, a member of the Women’s Auxiliary.
