Families enjoyed an evening of Halloween fun at Glen Maker American Legion Post 1160, 10739 Ridgeland Ave. in Chicago Ridge, during Cruiser Night sponsored by the Rat Racers.
The event featured decorated vehicle trunks filled with candy, giving children a chance to trick-or-treat while checking out the creative displays. Families also enjoyed food, games and a decorated hearse that added to the Halloween festivities.
Children received a free hot dog and juice, while food cost $2 for adults.
Glenn Maker Post 1160 Commander said he was happy to offer the trunk-or-treat event to the Chicago Ridge community and looked forward to continuing the tradition in the years to come.
