Misal B. Avelar, 62, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop Oct. 9 in the 7800 block of West 111th Street. He also was charged with other traffic offenses, police said.
Mokena man charged with driving on suspended license
Michael A. Hansen, 43, of Mokena, was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop Oct. 11 in the 7600 block of West 111th Street. He also was charged with other traffic offenses, police said.
Police investigate threatening text messages
Palos Hills police are investigating a telephone harassment complaint from a resident of the 10700 block of Olympia Circle. The resident reported Oct. 9 receiving threatening text messages from an unidentified person, police said.
