Zbigniew Czernecki, 63, died Oct. 4, 2026.
He was the beloved husband of Zofia Czernecka (née Mateja); loving father of Marzena (Jakub) Czernecka-Kozuch and Katarzyna Czernecka; and dearest grandfather of Oliwia Kozuch and Karol Kozuch.
He was the cherished son of the late Helena (née Wielocha) and Stefan Czernecki and the dear brother of Bozena (Stefan) Czernecka-Zatloka and Krzysztof (Maria) Czernecki. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. There will be no services at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to gather at 9:45 a.m. directly at Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111th St., Palos Hills, Illinois, for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Cmentarz Parafialny, Koscielisko, Poland.
