Mary C. Scurek, 87, dies.
Mary C. Scurek (née Zaremba), 87, died Oct. 11, 2026.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jozef Scurek; loving mother of Ann (Edwin) Stanislawski and John (Mary Ellen) Scurek; dear grandmother of Kristina, Eddie, Joseph, Thomas and Melanie; and dearest busia of Grayson, Skylar, Everett, Logan and Luke.
She was the cherished daughter of the late Anna and Franciszek Zaremba and the fond sister of Franciszek (Cecilia) Zaremba. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026. Prayers and procession begin at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Albert the Great Church, 8029 S. Central Ave., Burbank, Illinois, for 9:30 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
