Argo Community High School plans to fill its track with train rides, inflatables and a petting zoo Friday, Oct. 16, for Fall Fest 2026, a free, all-ages event open to the community.
The fest is scheduled for 4 to 6:30 p.m. on the track behind the school, 7329 W. 63rd St. in Summit, according to Stacie Sheiner, the school’s activities director. This year’s theme is “The Nightmare Before Fall Fest.” If the weather turns bad, the fest will move into the school’s field house.
Admission is free. Some activities at tables run by the school’s clubs may carry a small fundraising fee, and food will be for sale.
Train rides, a new attraction at last year’s fest, are back. Other planned activities include:
• DJ and music
• Arcade basketball
• A magician/hypnotist
• Games
• Inflatables
• Fall photo backdrops
• A petting zoo
Argo’s home varsity football game against Richards is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m., after the fest.
