Remigio Rosales, a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather known to his family for his quick wit, his humming and the man cave he built himself, died Sept. 28, 2026.
He was born Dec. 29, 1947, in Michoacán, Mexico, where he was raised. He carried the values of hard work, perseverance and family throughout his life, and he faced challenges with determination while always finding a reason to laugh.
He could be strong-willed and a little grouchy at times, his family said, but he cared deeply and was always there when they needed him.
He liked creating, fixing and finding his own way of doing things. The clearest example was the man cave he built outside his home, a space that reflected his personality.
He showed his love through actions more than words: guidance, protection, discipline and support. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his humming, his stories and his way of making people smile.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalina; their eight children, Humberto, Ignacio, Saul, Barnabe, Naborina, Blanca, Angel and Rolando; 16 grandchildren, Daniel, Victoria, Taylor, Jordan, Jessica, Jordan, Amber, Richie, Senaya, Noor, Jesse, Angelique, Evan, Aaron, Emily and Christian; and seven great-grandchildren.
