Driving on suspended license without insurance
A 49-year-old woman received three tickets after she was pulled over at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 8600 block of Archer Avenue for having a suspended registration.
She was charged with driving on a registration suspended for non-insurance, driving without insurance and driving on a suspended license. She has an Oct. 20 court date.
Never issued a driver’s license
A 28-year-old man received three tickets after a traffic stop at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 9 at Willow Boulevard and Archer Avenue.
He was pulled over when driving his black 2007 Honda because of a suspended registration.
The man was charged with driving without a license/never issued, driving on a registration suspended for non-insurance and driving without insurance. He will appear in court Oct. 20.
FOID card is surrendered
Police went to a residence in the 8200 block of Independence at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at the request of the Illinois State Police regarding revocation of a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card.
The resident, a 44-year-old woman, surrendered her FOID card without incident.
Mailbox and post damaged in hit-and-run
A mailbox and post in the 1300 block of Oak Ridge Court were damaged after being hit by a white Ford Crown Victoria at 6:30 p.m. Sept.
The driver fled the scene before the resident could get the license plate number. The resident, however, later saw the vehicle on a neighbor’s security camera video.
The repair cost is estimated at $350.
Well-being check finds resident deceased
A well-being check at 9:15 a.m. Sept. 9 in the 11300 block of German Church Road found a resident had died.
A neighbor who called said she had not seen the resident since Sept. 6 and that several packages were piled up at the front door.
Officers found the resident, a 78-year-old man, deceased in the master bedroom. Foul play is not suspected.
