An Oak Lawn man was arrested after officers responded to a call about a person passed out and unresponsive inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Main Street Wine and Liquors, 5425 S. La Grange Road, at 5:31 p.m. on Sept. 11.
When they arrived, officers found Cesario Toto-Gomez, 48, passed out and sprawled across the backseat with the rear passenger door open.
They found a loaded firearm on the rear passenger seat floor next to Toto-Gomez.
After securing the gun, officers awakened Toto-Gomez and found he was highly intoxicated.
Further investigation found that Toto-Gomez did not possess a FOID card or a Concealed Carry License.
He was arrested without incident and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon. He was later released with a court date.
