Peotone police firefighters were treated to a First Responders and Military Cookout on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon.
Food was provided by Freedom Butchers in Orland Park. Other donations came from Fire Pit Bar & Grill, Game On Bar & Grill, Berkot’s of Peotone, Dolomiti of Peotone and Cornerstone Coffee Shop. Peotone Mayor Chris Voeaux took a moment to pose with members of the Peotone Fire Protection District.
