James M. Wucka, 73, passed away on September 8, 2026. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.
James was the beloved husband of Martha M. (nee Eddy) Wucka. He was a loving father to James D. Wucka and Mary M. (Robert) Van Huis.
He was a cherished grandson of Nathan Osburn, Bentley Wucka, Lucas Robert Van Huis, and Dylan John Van Huis, and a great-grandfather to Braelynn Van Huis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna May (nee Celler) Wucka and James Wucka Jr.
He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
Funeral Service and Time of Remembrance: Thursday, September 17, 2026, 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
