The Willow Springs Lioness Lions Club held a pancake breakfast on Sunday, Sept. 13, to raise money for local community programs.
The event ran from 8 a.m. to noon at the Willow Springs Community Center. Attendees were served pancakes and sausage with orange juice or coffee.
Guests who brought old eyeglasses or hearing aids for recycling received raffle tickets. The clubs raffled off dozens of baskets and held a 50/50 drawing.
The breakfast also featured free health screenings: blood pressure checks, postural screening, chair massage, and neurological testing.
The Lioness Club has their popular upcoming bingo nights scheduled for January 16, February 20, March 13, and April 17 at the community center in 2027
