No turn signal leads to three tickets
A 19-year-old man pulled over for not using his turn signal received three tickets at 11:09 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 7500 block of Archer Avenue.
An officer saw him fail to signal when leaving Resurrection Cemetery. He told police his turn signal was not working.
Miguel J. Juarez Espino was charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance, and driving with a suspended registration for non-insurance.
Cracked windshield results in four tickets
A 48-year-old man pulled over for a cracked windshield received four tickets.
Elezar Gutierrez was stopped in the 7600 block of South Oak Grove Avenue at 11:17 a.m. Aug. 19 when driving his black 2011 Ford pickup truck.
He was ticketed for a defective windshield, defective taillight, unsafe brakes and driving without a license.
Traffic stop results in drug charges
A man pulled over for a registration problem received four charges.
Alexander J. Rojas-Gascon, 21, was stopped at 2:01 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 8700 block of 88th Avenue while driving south in his black 2007 Audi.
He was charged with driving without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle outside an approved container and possession of another person’s credit, debit, or ID card with intent to defraud, use, sell, or transfer it.
Never issued a driver’s license
Brandon Delgado-Dias, 27, was charged with driving without a license/never issued and driving with a suspended registration for non-insurance after a random registration check at 2:06 a.m. Aug. 26 in the 8400 block of West 79th Street.
