On September 5, the Beecher Lions Club is sponsoring their 4th Annual “All American Day,” taking place on Gould Street in downtown Beecher from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include a huge Car Show with a $1,000 prize for the “Best of Show.”
The Chicago Outlaw “Monster Truck” will be onsite and other events include; Blue Ribbon Pie Contest (Cash prizes), Kid’ Bike Decorating Contest, Farmers Market, artillery from the IL National Guard and a flag raising ceremony. Kids activities will include the 4-H Petting Zoo, inflatable fun, face painting, ballon animals and crafts. Car Show music will be provided by “DJ Ronnie B.”
All American Day is a free event and is being sponsored by the Beecher Lions Club, Beecher Amvets Post 67, Beecher Party Rentals, First Community Bank and Trust (Beecher), Heidi Singler – VRS Realty, VRS Realty – Frankfort, HD Auto Care (Grant Park), and Nick Oosting – Oosting Realty Group.
