Drivers charged for suspended licenses
Jacek M. Kowalczyk, 61, of Bridgeview, was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop July 18 in the 8000 block of West 103rd Street. Police also cited him for other traffic offenses.
Chavelia T. Woods, 36, of South Holland, was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop July 18 in the 8900 block of West 95th Street. Police also cited her for other traffic offenses.
Cigarette theft under investigation
Palos Hills police are investigating a theft at Speedway, 10300 S. Roberts Road, on July 16. A store clerk reported that a man took two packs of cigarettes and left without paying.
Vehicle burglarized
Police are investigating a vehicular burglary that occurred July 14 in the 8600 block of West 96th Place. The vehicle owner reported finding the car door ajar with paperwork and temporary checks missing. The doors may have been left unlocked.
Man charged with battery
Daived M. Anaya, 25, of Chicago Ridge, was charged with battery July 16 following an altercation in the 10400 block of South Harlem Avenue.
