The Caravan moved up to Class 8A and ran the table after winning the previous three 7A championships.
Next up is a quest for the first five-peat in program history, and there’s plenty of talent all over the field.
Start out with three of the top nine seniors in the state, according to the 247Sports composite rankings: No. 6 receiver Quentin Burrell (6-2, 200), No. 8 cornerback Tavares Harrington (6-3, 185) and No. 9 linebacker Roman Igwebuike (6-3, 225). Burrell and Harrington are committed to Michigan, while Igwebuike is committed to Notre Dame.
Burrell had team highs last year for receptions (67), receiving yards (1,124) and all-purpose yards (1,475). Harrington finished with 44 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss, while Igwebuike had 111 tackles, nine tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
Junior Marshaun Thornton (6-2, 190) is another top-flight receiver with more than 25 FBS offers, while senior running back Nathan Samuels is a Lindenwood commit. Thornton had 48 catches for 881 yards and 16 TDs in 2025.
Purdue commit Chase Clark (6-5, 275), a senior, returns to anchor the offensive line.
Junior defensive lineman Caleb Tucker (6-5, 370) is another Power Four prospect who had nine sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss last season.
