No plates lead to charges
Jorge Sixtos, 21, was pulled over at 9:36 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 8700 block of West 79th Street for towing a wood chipper without front and rear license plates.
He received four tickets and an $850 fine for an overweight load. He was also charged with driving without insurance, driving on an expired registration and failure to display a company name.
Traffic stop results in four tickets
Juan D. Aguinaga Soria, 20, was pulled over at 12:24 p.m. Aug. 1 in the 7900 block of Sholer Avenue because his 2012 Dodge Durango lacked splash guards.
He was charged with driving without a license, driving on a suspended registration, not having splash guards and driving without insurance.
No lights on trailer lead to arrest
Rodolfo Perez Belmontes, 29, was pulled over near the 294 entrance ramp on Archer on Aug. 1 for a trailer lacking tail lights.
He was charged with driving without a Commercial Driver’s License, not having turn signals or tail lights on his trailer and having an over-wide load.
Man arrested for expired license plates
Brian A. Williams, 55, was pulled over at 3:10 a.m. Aug. 2 in the 7900 block of South Roberts Road while driving a silver 2006 Ford sedan with expired license plates.
He was charged with driving on an expired registration, driving without insurance and driving on a suspended license.
Uncovered load results in five tickets
Adam Witas, 41, was pulled over at 1:41 p.m. Aug. 2 in the 7500 block of South Roberts Road while driving a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup with an uncovered load of construction material.
He was charged with failure to cover a load, driving without insurance, driving without a license, spilling a load and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hit and run leads to arrest
Sergio A. Molano Vargas, 25, was pulled over at 1:57 p.m. Aug. 2 after he hit and damaged a mailbox in the 8400 block of Cork Avenue with his gray 2017 Honda and fled the scene.
He was charged with driving without a license and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle outside an approved container.
Open cargo door lands driver in trouble
Luis M. Lopez Avila, 60, was pulled over at 8:42 a.m. Aug. 3 at 84th Street and Roberts Road because a side cargo door on his truck swung open.
He was charged with not having a valid Commercial Driver’s License when required, having an overweight load, having defective brakes, driving on an expired registration and not having a valid safety sticker on his truck or trailer.
Driving on a suspended license
Juan Rodriguez, 44, was pulled over at 4:00 p.m. Aug. 3 in the 7800 block of Sholer Avenue for an expired registration while driving a blue 2013 Ford Explorer.
He was charged with driving on a suspended license, driving on an expired registration, driving on a license plate suspended for non-insurance and violation of the child passenger protection act because a child in the car was not in a child car seat.
Tinted windows, three tickets
Yamone R. Brown Johnson, 35, was pulled over at 5:40 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 8300 block of 88th Avenue for having darkly tinted windows.
He was charged with driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and having obstructed windows.
