Pawel Szczech, age 27, passed away on July 22, 2026.
He was the beloved fiancé of Faith Williams and the cherished son of Wladyslawa (née Kowalczyk) and the late Franciszek Szczech.
He was the loving brother of Jozef Szczech, Maria (Piotr) Palenica, Anna (Franciszek) Wojtanek, and Barbara (Stanislaw) Szwab and the dearest godfather of Alicia Palenica.
He was the dear grandson of Aniela and the late Jozef Szczech and the late Anna and the late Stanislaw Kowalczyk.
He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation: Friday, August 7, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Saturday, August 8, 2026, 9 a.m. Prayers and procession to begin from the funeral home to Saint Fabian Church, 7450 W. 83rd Street, Bridgeview, Illinois, for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
