Food, live music and family-friendly entertainment will take center stage when the Taste of Orland Park returns next month for another weekend celebrating local restaurants and community spirit.
The 23rd annual Taste of Orland Park, presented by Northwestern Medicine, will be held at Village Green, 14700 S. Ravinia Ave. Admission is free, and the festival is open to the public.
The three-day event will feature food from local restaurants, live entertainment, a Kids’ Zone, community organizations and sponsor booths, giving visitors plenty of reasons to spend a summer day outdoors.
Saturday’s festivities begin when the gates open at 3 p.m. and will offer a full lineup of entertainment on two stages.
The Main Stage opens with the Petty Kings, a Tom Petty tribute band, performing from 3 to 4 p.m., followed by the Doonaree Pipe Band from 4 to 4:15 p.m. Country fans can enjoy Hillbilly Rockstarz from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
One of the evening’s highlights will be a veterans tribute and the national anthem at 6 p.m., featuring renowned anthem singer Jim Cornelison.
Entertainment continues with Annika Starander Weaver performing a Cher tribute from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The evening concludes with Chicago favorite 7th Heaven, which takes the stage from 9 to 11 p.m.
The Community Stage will showcase local youth performers from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. before giving festivalgoers the chance to become part of the show during Live Band Karaoke from 7 to 10 p.m.
With a combination of hometown flavors, live performances and activities for all ages, the Taste of Orland Park continues its tradition as one of the community’s signature summer events, bringing together residents and visitors for a weekend of food, music and fun.
