Shoppers strolling through Chicago Ridge Mall over the Fourth of July weekend found a new storefront waiting to welcome them.
U.S. Polo Assn. officially opened its doors July 4, bringing another nationally recognized retailer to the southwest suburban shopping destination. Located near the mall’s west entrance across from Akira and Books-A-Million, the new 3,700-square-foot store offers clothing, footwear and accessories for the entire family.

Inside, racks of colorful polo shirts, casual apparel and everyday fashions fill the bright new space, giving shoppers another option for affordable, sport-inspired clothing for men, women and children.
Mall officials say the addition is another step in the center’s continued effort to expand its mix of retailers and give shoppers more reasons to visit.
“We are thrilled to welcome a brand that brings strong recognition, broad family appeal and an accessible product offering that aligns with what today’s shoppers are looking for,” said Howard Levine, co-founder and managing partner of Second Horizon Capital, owner of Chicago Ridge Mall.
The U.S. Polo Assn. brand traces its roots to the sport of polo and serves as the official brand of the United States Polo Association. While inspired by the sport’s heritage, its collections focus on everyday clothing, shoes and accessories designed for families.
The new location adds to the mall’s growing lineup of apparel and lifestyle stores, joining retailers that continue to draw shoppers from Chicago Ridge and surrounding southwest suburban communities.
Camilo Varela, co-founder and managing partner of Second Horizon Capital, said attracting recognizable national retailers remains a priority for the mall.

For U.S. Polo Assn., the Chicago Ridge location is part of the company’s continued growth across North America.
