Fight leads to battery charges
Samer F. Alhajeid, 25, of Palos Hills, was charged with two counts of battery following a fight that occurred in the 11200 block of Moraine Drive on June 23.
Gun charges follow disturbance call
Usama Shajaiyah, 31, of Palos Hills, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, when police responded to a disturbance in the 11200 block of Helena Drive on June 27. He was also charged with violations of rules related to firearm ownership.
Two drivers arrested for suspended licenses on Harlem Avenue
Police charged two men with driving with suspended licenses in separate traffic stops on June 24. Rami Agha, 54, of Justice, was pulled over in the 10500 block of South Harlem Avenue while Whilson A. Guerra-Valderrama, 32, of Chicago, was stopped in the 10300 block of Harlem Avenue. Police said both men were also cited for other traffic offenses.
Driver with revoked license arrested on outstanding warrants
Brian H. Davis, 40, of Justice, was charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop on June 26 in the 7900 block of West 95th Street. Police also arrested him on two outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court for previous incidents and cited him for other traffic offenses.
Vandals sought for damaging car
Police are looking for three men who were seen causing heavy damage to a vehicle in the 8100 block of 99th Street on July 23. A witness reported seeing the three unidentified people jumping up and down on a car, causing extensive damage. They fled on foot when the witness yelled at them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Palos Hills police.
