Kathleen “Kathy” Dobrocky, born October 20, 1942, passed away on June 23, 2026, surrounded by the love she cherished so deeply.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and devoted family member, Kathy was known for her unwavering love of family. She truly believed that being together, supporting one another, and sharing in both life’s joys and challenges were the most important gifts we have. She had a special way of bringing people together — always listening, always supporting, and ready to happily debate any topic. Her warmth and easygoing nature made everyone feel valued and understood.
Those who knew Kathy will remember her kind heart, her gentle spirit, and the comfort of being in her presence — as long as it wasn’t related to a game of cards, where she lived by one rule: beat all comers. She found happiness in simple moments spent with loved ones, and her greatest pride was the family she helped nurture and care for.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Dobrocky; her children William and Kasandra Dobrocky (Danny and Maddie Dobrocky, Parker) and Laura and Tim Flynn (Liam, Patrick, and Eileen); her sister Joan Allen; and many nieces and nephews. Her beloved son Tom preceded her in death.
Kathy’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and togetherness. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
