Gotion Illinois is hiring veterans for battery manufacturing jobs at a Manteno Job fair Saturday that offers entry-level positions starting at $50,000 annually, plus paid training.
Gotion Illinois is hosting a Veterans Job Fair on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 333 S. Spruce Street in Manteno, inviting local veterans, transitioning service members, and their families to explore careers in advanced battery manufacturing.
Entry-level production positions start at approximately $50,000 per year, with higher pay available for candidates with technical certifications. The company will offer information on paid training programs and direct conversations with hiring managers.
“Veterans bring exceptional technical aptitude and leadership to the workforce,” said Ben Kinchloe, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and director of environmental health and safety at Gotion Illinois. “At Gotion Illinois, veterans like me can translate those skills into long-term career growth.”
Mark Kreusel, general manager of Gotion Illinois, said the company views the job fair as part of a broader commitment to veteran employment and professional development.
“We deeply value what veterans offer,” Kreusel said. “Our initiative is focused not only on hiring, but on supporting their continued professional journey.”
The job fair is free to attend. No registration is required.
