Overview:

Beecher and Monee's Police Blotter contains charges for moving and registration violations, open alcohol in vehicle, and Will County warrant.

Disclaimer: Charges against each defendant are merely accusations, with all defendants presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

BEECHER

On May 30, Lilyanna Rodriguez, 20, of Joliet, was stopped for a registration violation. Further investigation determined Rodriguez had no valid driver’s license and was charged accordingly for the noted violations. A notice-to-appear was provided.

On June 1, Ema Scoccia, 50, of Beecher, was stopped for a moving violation. Scoccia was issued citations, and a notice-to-appear was provided.

On June 3, Patrick Fitzpatrick, 42, of Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a suspicious vehicle call. Fitzpatrick was processed accordingly, and a notice-to-appear was provided.

On June 7, William Mulder, 19, of Beecher, was stopped for an equipment violation. Further investigation determined Mulder was unlawfully in possession of a fraudulent identification card, as well as a firearm. Mulder was processed accordingly, and a notice-to-appear was provided

On June 9, Marco Chavez, 20, of Chicago, was stopped for an equipment violation. Further investigation determined Chavez had a suspended driver’s license and was in possession of open alcohol in a motor vehicle. Chavez was processed accordingly, and a notice-to-appear was provided.

MONEE

On June 3, Monee Police arrested Tayshun Russell, 19, of Park Forest. Russell was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident reported to Monee Police on May 20. Russell was cited and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.

On June 6, Monee Police responded to the area of S. Sunset Drive and W. Monee-Manhattan Road for a traffic accident. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Louis Dees, 47, of Bronx, New York. Dees was arrested for driving without a CDL when required, cited, and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.

On June 6, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Said Hussaini, 32, of Denver, Colorado. Hussaini was charged with driving without a CDL when required, cited, and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.

On June 6, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Dushawn Archie, 21, of Sauk Village. Archie was arrested on a Will County warrant and  transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

On June 8, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Anton Jolly, 29, of Monee. Jolly was charged with driving while license suspended, cited, and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.

On June 10, Monee Police responded to the 5900 block of W. Monee-Manhattan Road for a deceptive practice complaint. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Drake Foster, 32, of Olympia Fields. Foster was charged with theft by deception and attempted theft, was cited, and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.

On June 13, Monee Police responded to the 6000 block of W. Monee-Manhattan Road for a report of a driver sleeping in a restaurant drive-thru. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Abel Alvarado, 40, of Chicago Heights. Alvarado was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI >.08. Alvarado was cited and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.

On June 14, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Yasmin Rojas de Papa, 51, of Chicago Heights. Rojas de Papa was charged with no valid driver’s license, cited, and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.

On June 15, Monee Police responded to the 6000 block of W. Monee-Manhattan Road for a disturbance. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Xavier Lee, 25, of Monee. Lee was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, and aggravated assault. Lee was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility to be held pending a pre-trial detention hearing.

On June 16, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Jacobi Eatman, 22, of Crete. Eatman was charged with driving while license suspended, was cited, and released on a pre-trial notice to appear.
