Residents across Chicago’s South Suburbs are expected to gather for Independence Day fireworks celebrations on either Friday, July 3 or Saturday, July 4, as communities continue long-standing traditions featuring live entertainment, food vendors and nighttime fireworks displays.

Most shows are expected to begin around 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., depending on sunset conditions and weather, with families encouraged to arrive early for parking and festival activities.
