Overview:
Monee Police report contains charges for harassment through electronic communications, moving violation, suspended license, failure to notify law enforecement of accident.
*All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
MONEE
On May 27, Monee Police arrested Kelton Davis, 28, of Fort Worth, Texas. Davis was charged with harassment through electronic communications after an incident reported to Monee Police on April 21. Davis was cited and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.
On May 29, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Kenyon Polk, 20, of Homewood. Polk was arrested for a Cook County warrant and was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
On May 29, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Coby Cox, 23, of Joliet. Cox was charged with driving while license suspended, cited, and released on a pre-trial notice to appear.
On May 30, Monee Police conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Jorge Urbina, 30, of Monee. Urbina was charged with driving while license suspended, cited, and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.
On May 30, Monee Police responded to the 4700 block of W. Iris Lane for a report of a hit-and-run accident. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Eric Evans, 21, of Beecher. Evans was charged with driver failure to notify law enforcement of an accident, failure to notify law enforcement of damaging an unattended vehicle, possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle, and illegal transportation or possession of alcoholic liquor in a motor vehicle. Evans was cited and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.
On May 31, Monee Police responded to the 25700 block of S. Egyptian Trail for a report of a vehicle accident. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Sierra Moore, 24, of Palos Heights. Moore was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol- BAC >.08, cited, and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.
On June 1, Monee Police arrested Malik Barnes, 21, of Chicago. Barnes was charged with theft under $500 after an incident reported to Monee Police on May 26. Barnes was cited and released on a pre-trial notice-to-appear.
