Catherine M. Staron, a longtime resident of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge community, died Friday, May 29.
Mrs. Staron was married for 59 years to John Staron.
She is survived by her children, John, Michelle, and Tanya Staron; her sister-in-law, Donna Blaszczyk; and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth Drose and Patricia Podwika.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Avenue. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until prayers at 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Faustina Kowalska Church. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
