Registration and license offenses
A 33-year-old woman was arrested after an officer conducting a random vehicle check discovered her white 2024 Kia had a suspended registration. She was pulled over in the 8200 block of Willow Springs Road at 10:19 a.m. May 13. She was charged with driving on a suspended registration and driving on a canceled license.
Hit and run damages vehicle
A 2017 International truck sustained damage to the driver’s side hood, door, and truck bed in an apparent hit and run around noon May 14 in the 7600 block of La Grange Road.
Three speeders caught on La Grange Road
A 24-year-old man received four citations after radar found his red Toyota traveling 85 mph in a 45-mph zone in the 7600 block of La Grange Road at 9:17 p.m., May 16. He was charged with speeding more than 35 miles over the limit, reckless driving, improper traffic lane usage, and changing lanes without signaling.
A 19-year-old man was pulled over at 7:05 p.m., May 16, in the 8700 block of La Grange Road after radar detected his red Ford sedan traveling 75 mph in a 45-mph zone. The officer also observed the driver aggressively switching lanes. He was charged with speeding 26 to 34 miles over the limit, driving without insurance, and improper lane usage.
A 23-year-old man was pulled over at 11:41 p.m., May 16, after he was clocked doing 79 mph in a 45-mph zone in the 7600 block of La Grange Road. He was charged with speeding 26 to 34 miles over the limit and driving on an expired registration.
Woman charged with driving violations
A 38-year-old woman was issued three citations after her blue Chrysler PT Cruiser was pulled over for having a suspended registration at 10:31 a.m. May 17 in the 9000 block of Archer Avenue. She was charged with driving on an expired registration, driving on a registration suspended for non-insurance, and driving on an expired license.
Speeder doing twice the limit caught on Archer
A 39-year-old woman was clocked doing 70 mph in a 35-mph zone on Archer Avenue according to police radar at 7:33 p.m. May 17.
An officer pulled over her blue 2019 Chevy Impala in a parking lot in the 8200 block of Archer. She was charged with speeding 26 to 34 miles over the limit and driving on a revoked license.
