The GFWC Argo-Summit Bedford Park Women’s Club installed its slate of officers for 2026–2028 at its year-end dinner last month at the Bedford Park District Community Building.
The new leadership includes Bridget Ormins as president, Joan Marchese as president-elect, Jane Blomquist as vice president of membership, Vicki Ramirez as treasurer, Chantal Karge as corresponding secretary, and Teresa Thomas as recording secretary. Gerri Eck, the 5th/6th District President, attended as a guest.
The club funds scholarships for young women, assembles care packages for veterans, provides meals to homeless residents, and distributes Christmas gifts to children in need through Beds Plus. It also finances educational assemblies at local schools.
