The Township of Lyons will host residents for lunch and a screening of “Roman Holiday” on Thursday, June 11, beginning at noon at the Community Room in the township complex, 6404 Joliet Road, Countryside.
The 1953 film stars Audrey Hepburn as a princess exploring Rome incognito and Gregory Peck as a reporter. Hepburn won the Academy Award for best actress for her performance. The film also won Oscars for best story and best costume design.
Lunch will be provided.
