Turn leads to three tickets
Making an improper left turn from 88th Avenue onto Archer led to a driver getting three tickets at 10:25 p.m. April 24, police said.
After an officer saw the illegal turn, he pulled over the man’s black 2011 Lincoln in the 8500 block of 79th Street, police said.
Deandrae L. Gardner, 22, town not released, was charged with making an improper left turn, driving without a license/never issued and driving without insurance, police said.
No driver’s license
An officer on patrol noticed heavily-tinted windows on a silver Hyundai and pulled it over in the 7500 block of Archer at 3:37 p.m. April 25, police said.
The driver, Wilver A. Garcia Redondo, 26, town not released, was charged with driving without a license and possession of a false auto insurance card, police said.
Suspended license
Iesha S. Walker, 35, town not released, was charged with driving on a suspended license after police pulled over her black 2017 Ford at 87th Street and 88th Avenue at 10:45 a.m. April 26, police said.
Windshield leads to tickets
A cracked windshield resulted in a 50-year-old man getting three tickets after his green 1995 Chevy Tahoe was pulled over at 79th Street and Oketo Avenue at 12:28 p.m. April 26, police said.
Sergio Andrade Barraza, town not released, was charged with driving with a defective windshield and registration suspended for non-insurance, police said.
He was also charged with unlawful display of registration because the license plates on his Chevy were registered to his 2016 Jeep, police said. The registration on the Tahoe had expired in November 2023, police said.
Package stolen
A package that contained an iPhone worth $300 was stolen from outside an apartment in the 8600 block of South 86th Avenue on April 24, police said. A 31-year-old woman reported the theft to police on April 29.
One stop, two arrested
A man and woman were both arrested after an officer pulled over a gray 2003 Chevy Silverado that had heavily-tinted windows at 10:11 a.m. April 30 at Frontage Road and Cronin Avenue, police said.
The driver, Angelo M. Paredes, 36, town not released, was charged with aggressive driving with a revoked license, driving without insurance and having an obstructed side window, police said.
His passenger, Amanda M. Chavarria, 45, town not released, was charged with obstructing or resisting arrest after she refused to step away from the vehicle after police had asked several times, police said.
