Susan Morrison, 59, of Dallas, Texas, was charged April 22 with criminal trespass for refusing to leave the Apple Store in the Orland Square Mall, police said.

Morrison went into the store to have her phone serviced. She reportedly was unhappy with the service she received and became loud, police said.

Employees asked her to leave but she refused and instead continued yelling at employees, police said.  She then continued to make a scene and refused to leave the mall, saying the “mall is public property,” police said.

Police told Morrison that the mall is private property and she can be asked to leave.  She refused to leave the property and was charged with criminal trespass, police said.
