Kayla X. Penix, 29, of Rockford, was charged with retail theft and other offenses at Target, 4120 W. 95th St., at 3:15 p.m. April 25.
Police said she took household goods worth $187. Penix was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespassing due to past arrests there, and obstructing identification for providing a false name to conceal a warrant for previous retail theft charges.
She is due in court May 29.
